State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Brian J. Ozzone, 51, of Poughkeepsie on Tuesday, Dec. 31.

An investigation conducted by the state police revealed that Ozzone had engaged in sexual conduct with the Wappinger Falls woman, who was unable to consent, police said.

Ozzone was charged with second-degree rape.

Ozzone’s next scheduled court appearance is in the Town of Wappinger Court on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
